Location - The Coventry Airport is located almost next to the village of Baginton. This quaint old village is home to the Roman Lunt Fort and also the gradually expanding Coventry Airport. The airport is actually situated about 5 km south of the 2nd largest city in English Midlands, Coventry. If you want to locate the airport, remember it is just about 3 miles from the Coventry Railway Station. If you are coming by road, then please note that the airport is near the M6, M69 and M40 motorways. The A45 and A46 roads are also available.

Transit systems
- There is no separate transit system inside the Coventry airport. All the passenger areas are situated on the ground-level making it easier for the differently abled and also the old, to use the airport.

- The passenger terminal in the Coventry airport is located in the southern part. General airport information is available at the information desk located in the departure building. The airport is open for the public from 0400 hours for 7 days a week. The check in at the 2 check in desks is fast and efficient. Ticket bookings are allowed up to 2 hours before the departure time via the Call Centre and up to 1 hour before departure time at the Information Desk in Airport Departures. The airport authorities advise that even if your departure flight is delayed by 45 minutes, you should check in as normal since in checking documents, tickets and other papers and being given the green signal by security a minimum of 45 minutes are taken.

Leaving from Coventry airport - The Coventry Airport Express provides buses which link the Airport with London Road, Quinton Parade, Coventry Railway Station, Coventry City Centre and Pool Meadow Coach Station. If trains are what you prefer, then the Coventry Railway Station is just 3 miles from the Coventry Airport. You can also avail Bus Service 737, which provides hourly service from the station to the Airport. You can also choose to travel by taxis, which are available from the airport.
