With its increased number of flights and improved check-in facilities, Leeds
Bradford airport is renowned as being the fasted growing airport
in the UK. The increase in passengers over the previous year was 17%. This
is a phenomenal number for an already established airport. The airport became
a limited company in 1987. In the year 1994, the airport had its restrictions
removed which were meant to decrease its flexibility as a popular destination
on the aerial map of the United Kingdom.
